Chris McClean, M.A

Chris is a Clinical Psychology predoctoral intern. He earned his BA in psychology from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, before moving to San Francisco and earning his Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at AIU.

Chris’s doctoral training and special interests have have focused on neuropsychological assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy, pediatric psychology, and LGBTQ clients. Chris has conducted individual and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults in multiple settings including: school, community mental health, hospital, and private practice. Chris has also led Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills groups and anxiety management groups for adolescents. He has provided forensic and psycho-diagnostic assessment with examinees from diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns across the age span.

Chris joined our team in December 2019. His clinical supervisor is Dr. Sabrina Gabel. He provides therapy and teaches social emotional classes.
